The eating is plain but tasty in
Sweden.   The everyday meals
are rich in varieties of breads
-different shapes, textures, and
grains - and dairy products
(cheeses, butter, and cultured
milk dishes).
Sweden is famous for its
meatballs and pickled herring,
and there are many more typical
and traditional foods to sample.
Swedes are the greatest coffee
drinkers in the world, and have
it strong and often.
Some specialties include
elderflower juice, lingonberries,
smoked herring, and much more.
Strawberries are in season in June.    Resembling an
American Strawberry Shortcake is this Swedish torte.
