Min Levnads Afton
“Min Levnads Afton” translates to English as “The Evening of my Life”.
It was composed by the great Bingsjö fiddler, Hjort Anders Olsson. It is a non-dance melody, known for its somber expression and beauty.
Hjort Anders is thought to have composed it when facing his own mortality as he grew older and found relatives and friends passing away.
