Polkett efter Nils Lindahl
This Polkett efter Nils Lindahl is a delightful energetic polka from the province of Värmland. Lindahl was a fiddler from the area of Eda.
The tune requires some techniques not often used by many fiddlers. It is in the key of A, but the 3rd of the 4 reprises is in the key of E.
The fourth reprise, in the key of A, requires “position” playing. By putting your forefinger on the C# note on the A string, the rest of the notes come quite naturally.
