Senpolska från Offerdal

This Senpolska från Offerdal is attributed to Lapp-Nils, the great fiddler from the early 1800’s.   It was published in the collection “Svenska Låtar”,  #114 in the Jämtland volume.   For the collection, it was played by Anders Grelsson (born 1844) in 1904.

The Senpolska is a slow type of polska dance, originating in the more northern provinces of Sweden.

Here is a video of me playing the Senpolska från Offerdal.
