R\u00e4ttvik parish in Dalarna.\u00a0 \u00a0He was born in 1819, and was considered one of the greatest fiddlers of the area in the 19th century.<\/p><p>Many fiddlers from R\u00e4ttvik credited Dal Jerk as the origin of lots of tunes.\u00a0 \u00a0This one was in the original Svenska L\u00e5tar collection in 1926, as part of the repertoire of Gudmund T\u00e5berg.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-1bfab4d\" data-id=\"1bfab4d\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div suitable for either an entry or recessional at a wedding.<\/p><p>I learned it in Sweden in 1974.\u00a0 \u00a0I later found that it is one of the tunes that Edwin Johnsson brought to America from Sweden in the 1920&#8217;s.\u00a0 He was a R\u00e4ttvik fiddler who emigrated to\u00a0<br \/>America and was celebrated both here and in Sweden for having preserved tunes and the style of playing from that time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
