I learned it in 1974 from Pelle Persson, a J\u00e4mtland fiddler living in V\u00e4rmland at the time.\u00a0 \u00a0He played it in the key of F, as here, along with all the local V\u00e4rmland fiddlers who learned it from him.<\/p>

Years later, other fiddlers I met were playing it in C, using the same fingering, but playing one string over.\u00a0 \u00a0It turned out that a book of dance tunes had been published, and put this waltz in a different key.<\/p>

The first known publication of it, though, was in 1926, in the key of F, in the collection\u00a0Svenska L\u00e5tar- J\u00e4mtland<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
