Dr\u00f6mmen om Elin<\/strong>, “The Dream of Elin”, is a popular Swedish waltz\/song by Carl Jularbo.\u00a0 Jularbo was a celebrated accordionist and bandleader in the first half of the 20th century.\u00a0 He was internationally famous, and made many recordings throughout his career.<\/p>

\u00a0 The type of tune is\u00a0gammaldans<\/strong>, “old-time dance”, and does not fall into a regional fiddle dialect, as most fiddle tunes do.\u00a0 \u00a0 Gammaldans pieces are somewhat generic, being played the same way everywhere.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dr\u00f6mmen om Elin is one of the best known tunes in Sweden.\u00a0 Traditional fiddlers seldom initiate playing it in a fiddle jam, but know it well enough in their heads to play along with it if it gets started.<\/p>
