Årsundavalsen

This very typical Swedish waltz is from a little town in the province of Gästrikland called Årsunda.

The town has an old history of settlement.  Today it has a reconstructed “Viking village” used to demonstrate how vikings lived, dressed, ate, etc.  a thousand years ago.

 

 

Here is a YouTube recording of Årsundavalsen being played on accordion.  The video actually shows the player’s love for American cars, but the sound recording shows of the tune very well.
