Eriksmåla is a tiny town in the Province of Skåne. It has hosted fair since the 1700’s. Its regular autumn fair (marknad) has been held regularly since 1830, and the spring fair since 1842.
The fair has sellers of local produce, local handcrafts, food, flowers, and miscellaneous merchandise. A music festival is part of the fair. It attracts people from not only Småland, but even from other areas of Sweden.
Here is a YouTube video of fiddlers at a Swedish festival playing Eriksmåla Marknadsvals.
