Kruthandlar’ns Vals
Kruthandlar’ns Vals, or “The Gunpowder Salesman’s Waltz”, is a tune that wss played by fiddler and nyckelharpa player Anders Liljefors.
Liljefors was born in 1928, and lived to the age of 92. He was a music teacher as well as a great fiddler.
I learned this tune at a workshop in the US from Edward Anderzon and Elin Skoglund. It immediately became one of my favorite nyckelharpa waltzes.
