Gustaf Jernberg was just one of a long line of fiddlers in the Jernberg family, going back to the 1700’s. Born and raised in the province of Gästrikland, he moved and settled in Österbybruk, in Uppland.
He was not only an outstanding fiddler, but he also composed many tunes. This schottische is one of his best known pieces, often played by fiddlers both in and outside of Uppland.
